I believe the sea-faring folk of old had a saying about a red sky in the morning not being a harbinger of good weather. While the morning came without the promised rain, it did have close to a 30 degree drop in temperature with radar showing rain showing up sometime around 9am. Anglers talked of the possibility of 2 inches of rain today, along with a big wind out of the east having an effect on their game plan. Many said they would stick with successful techniques from day 1 yet have an open mind to move/change if needed. Boat control will be on their minds too, with river locations and their somewhat sheltered nature becoming more and more viable. Stay tuned to walleyefirst.com and our social media outlets for coverage of the weigh-in during the forecasted icy monsoon.
