Shelbyville and Kincaid have some good fish I'm told. Kincaid is open now, and Shelby should be. I've only Muskie fished there, so can't offer anything on eyes

Around the Carbondale area the only lake that I know for sure that has walleye is Cedar Lake. It's located in Jackson Cty. Real pretty lake!

Cedar has Walleye? Didn't know that... Best bet would be to give Al Nutty a call. He is one of the local guides down there. He might be better known for Musky, but he is a Multi-species guide. Here is his info: Kinkaid Lake Guide Service

Not positive if his e-mail is working right now so best bet is to call him. Here is a link to his website: http://www.kinkaidlakeguides.com/index.htm
