I'm just curious about how many of you are really interested in the Walleye Weekend and plan on attending????????

I do not see too many of you commenting on the food, location and date. Is this an indication that you do not plan on attending? I'd hate to see a lot of planning going into this and then only have a handful of people showing up.

LET'S START A ROLL CALL OF PEOPLE PLANNING ON BEING THERE.

I'LL BE COMING AND BRINGING AT LEAST 3 OTHER PEOPLE.

Dennis.

Have we firmed up a date yet? I'd really like to make both the get togethers. And if one is on one day and the other the next, I could gat away with only having one partner. And being one has been moved to Vermillion that would work out perfect if WF was in Huron. One day at one spot the next at the other.

But I'm not going to tell you that something couldn't come up and keep me away. But I don't have much going during that time of year.

I should be able to make this. I have a Charter Capt friend that docks in Huron in the fall. If I play my cards right, I think I could get 4-6 of us on his boat for a day for the cost of fuel. Anybody interested in this?

As far as food goes, I'm all for just hooking up at a place with good pub grub, and pay my own way. Would hate to see anybody put out a bunch of their own bucks and no be able to re-coup.

O.K. Lets get this straight. WC get-together is on the 23rd/24th. Their raffle/dinner is Friday night the 22nd in Vermillion. Thier fun tourney is for Saturday the 23rd 7:00am to 4:00pm, weigh in also in Vermillion.

No matter the what, when or where, I plan on staying at the River Edge again on the Huron for that weekend. Are we planning our WF fun day/weekend in Huron? If so, are we going to have a fun tourney. I'll say this, I missed the fun toourney weigh in last year for WC, even though we had about 32 pounds we could have weighed in. Because at 4:00pm, we were having our best fishing.

If so, I think with the (probably few) WF participants this first time, we should simply meet at the Bar near the launch on Saturday night. I forget the darn name of the Bar, but their prime rib and Mogans and Coke was to kill for. Sunshine knows the name, he and Bob Keeney spent the first night there at the 2002 get-together.

I'd consider it but don't want to haul the boat over there as shes gettin ready to retire! Shep I'm up for your idea but again it's still too far off for me to commit.
Good Luck
