After having to deal with over 13ft levels on the Wisconsin now the water is going down, but wind this morning was unbearable! Gusts of over 35mph made it awful hard to fish. We only got one Walleye between 3 of us but found the Crappies OK with a nice 13" Slab to top them off. They were relating deep I also hooked a Bluegill and lost a few Slabs because thought I do not need to net the "Papermouths"... There were still some crazy people out there yesterday in tiny john-boats and venturing around floating trees.

Fished the Wisconsin 0730-0920 this morning. Rushing boats ticked me off and I took off. Got my license checked that was a 1st this season - usually I see Mike twice a day... Nice as always, the FishNGame Warden gave his $0.02 fo this weekend to end the spawn - all of the big females were stacked by Portage he said but with the abrupt water level changes he says we might not get a bite off of the "Great Run". Again my Crappies related to "quiet pockets" adjacent to the current like the "mirrors" on the picture slow for me today but I might have done better if I made it there before the traffic.

Very nice pictures. Really like the one with the knife ready to make fillets!
