The recent outing with WalleyeExpress and JDII had me talking to the fish as I reeled them in. The most used comment made was asking theses bigazz bass if they had had enough. Normally I chatter on to the fish as I haul them in and wondered if anyone else had this crazy habit.

Location: Cupar, Saskatchewan, Canada		All the time I talk to them while releasing them to I think everyone does that though. I also talk them into the boat sometimes to like you just described.

I don't really talk to much to them when I'm fighting them, but.....If they get off my hook before I land them I usually say something like..."$#%!@#$%^&*(' " and "#$%^&*_@%" and then sometimes I've been known to say "!@^%()+*%#" and other times I just wish them well, and say have a nice day!

Location: Niagara Falls New York		Hey Rick, I`m always talking to the fish, when there not biting , when i get a bite, when I reel them in and when there in the boat. I`m sure I will be doing alot of that over the next 10 days of fishing. I`m heading out for the MWC Henderson Harbor and the reports are very good with fish up in the 13# range. Keep an eye on the weights next weekend they could be HUGE. Is Walleye First going to make the trip??? I would like to see them there they do such a great job. Time to get packed.

Good luck John! Think that Bob Hollingsworth is joining up in that MWC Tournament and I'm curious to watch if you can come out ahead of him.:-)

Take some pictures and write a report on your experiences, it'll be good to mention your Dad makes them Thumper 3-D Crawler Harnesses.

I thought everyone did! But you have to talk to some fish nicer than others, big eye's with only 1 trebel hook in the widening hole in their face MUST be talked to in a very gental nice voice until thay are in the boat on the floor! Then and only then may you scream at them and jump around. If they get off prior to the net going in the water you may also scream at them and swear if you need to. But perch you can never NEVER swear at as they are pickey like 85 year old grandmas and they do not like foul language and will quit biting at all if you offend them. I think I need help Kitch

Yes. I have this crazy habit, too. But, after six cans of Point Special. After a case, I swear the fish talk back.
