I spent 3 days on Winni with mixed results...lot's of perch & northerns. The walleyes would turn off and on throughout the day. Most of the fish were coming from less than 10' of water, including this 26" fish caught by Sue Maybell of Kansas City.

We were snap jigging and dragging jigs depending upon the activity of the fish. There was a definite preference for shiners over anything else. Man, there is an abundance of smaller eye's this year. Hopefully they will get a chance to grow....I saw a number of boats keeping those 13" fish. Nav
