Location: Ontario, Canada | Hi guys, fishing the mighty St. Lawrence River (not having much luck either) and the guys are telling me that they are getting some eyes in 50' and deeper. How do you fish for them that deep and what should I be looking for, stucture wise ?
Thanks |

Location: Rhinelander | There are several presentations to get the bait down that far, but before any answers, are you trolling? Vertical jigging works pretty well at any depth, and with the proper lead applied carnks and live bait rigs cne be presented deep enough. |

Location: Theresa, NY | I know of one fisherman from last year was doing a controlled drift along the channel edges, with bottom bouncer weights and florescnent or glow worm harnesses. He was doing this on the St. Lawrence near Oak Point which is between Ogdensburg and Chippewa Bay...I hear they are catching them up in your area..but don't know that much about it. Catching mine out in Lake Ontario. |
