Member Posts: 106 Location: Chilton, WI | I have been reading the posts in the message board lately and it seems like you are a decent bunch of guys with lots of usefull information. I figured I would join and maybe learn a few things. I have been fishing Winnebago for quite a few years and I am just getting into the small tournament scene. I might be fishing Nieghborhood Pub tourney this weekend, will post on how I do. Good luck to all you guys in the Merc National this weekend. Scrap Iron

![]() Member Posts: 2680 Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Hey, Scrap Iron. Firstly, welcome aboard.... I guess the neasest thing about any walleye fishing board on the web, is the diversity of the people and the fishing knowledge concerning and shared on it about the many techniques and facits of catching walleyes. And what some board users on this and other sites might call bragging when posting pictures, products, stories or details from a great fishing day, in my book is both credability and validation that this person indeed knows his stuff and is a man/woman worth listening to. IMHO.....It's this sharing and posting of (free) information not only about the techniques, but any of the products and brand names used in this process, that seperates some boards from the others. I'm sure it indeed can be a fine line between sharing good/reliable fishing info or slipping in back-door advertising of a product. But the moderators on this particular site seem to have a good handle on both personal negative slams and unwanted commercial use of the boards. This difference, even though not something that jumps off the page at you, is that (good feeling) difference your gut tells you about this site. Enjoy and post often.... Member Posts: 106 Location: Chilton, WI | Thanks guys. Richfish, the handle comes from another one of my favorite sports, snowmobiling. I have a hard time keeping the sled or anything I ride for that matter, in one in one piece. I've been getting better though. This past winter was pretty darn good, only managed to bend a radius rod and snap the sway bar.
