From "Trade Only" (the daily new update for the marine industry):

"HLT Ltd. (formerly Kawkeye Leisure Trailers) says it has acquired the manufacturing assets aof Eagle Custom Trailers of Wyandotte, Mich., and will resume building trailers at the Eagle plant soon.

Eagle had suspended production several weeks ago. A spokesman for HLT said this morning (June 10) the 100,000-square-foot Michigan plant would reopened in the near future and a "good portion" of the 35 people who had been working there will be recalled".

should read "Hawkeye"...trailers , not "Kawkeye" ...LOL!

I hope they name the trailers "Hawkeye" because the "Eagle" name treated buyers very poorly. I wouldn't take a free one.

They made a very good trailer. I really don't think they planned on their Bank calling-in their notes and having to file bankruptcy because of it.

Walleytap you're giving em a bad rap. I've got a tandem Eagle under a 1900 Pro-V and it is an excellent product.
