Pretty good fishing day although rain fell throughout the day winds stayed down but yet pushing from the Northwest.
Water temps. running at again between 56' and 58' throughout both the upper and lower Bay waters.
Clients, Reid Adams and good friend, Terry both from Harding, IL. wanting to learn more about the "finese" methods of jigging using both live-bait and artificials.
Redtail Chubs again took charge while working lead-head jigs in the 1/4 ounce range, colors varied from oranges to chartrueses with no preferences. Slow lift/drop motion of the jigs back to boat while casting working water depths from 10 feet to 25 feet of water concentrating on the weed edges and some of the many breaklines.
We did move frequently from numerous spots and marked good numbers of fish as well seeing good amounts of baitfish.
Yes we probably should have caught more due to fish being on and lost at boat side but the ones landed were nice fish.
Weather looks like it may change in the upcoming couple days,
be safe, watch the weather along with the winds and good luck on the Bay.
Here's a couple of photos of todays catch, the largest fish was released to fight again,
