Heres one of the five 16 inch dinks we caught today, poping crappie tubes, on live bait jigs and shiners. We also caught 3 dandy pike that were not netted, but (Needle Nose) released at the side of the boat. Also seen a nice steelhead landed in front of the Dam by a Dow Corning employee on his work break. I'm thinking I'd be on the bosses S*^# list almost continually, if I worked for Dow. Location: Rhinelander | Express, The weather here turned cold and very windy yesterday. It's 26 degrees now, so I bet things will cool down over there alot today if that hasn't already happened.

![]() Member Posts: 2680 Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Steve. Yupper, things got REAL windy by 10:00am yesterday. The cold part showed up last night. The Bad/Good part is/was, only a NW wind can really ruin ideal conditions and spoil my best holes on the Tittabawassee. Unfortunetly, this is exactly what happened and I balme myself for not starting in my best holes earlier, before Mr. Wind showed up. I know we would have done better early if I had. Like I usually do under those circumstances, I gave the boys the (half day) option when I knew things were going South. They left happy, had a few more bucks in thier pocket, and mentioned coming back, so that satisfied all my goals as a guide. Edited by walleye express 11/8/2004 9:06 AM

Member Posts: 2393 Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | They're talking possible snow here on Thursday but one advantage of living in SE Wisconsin is that you can usually find open water somewhere throughout the winter..USUALLY the lake and/or local rivers only freeze for a very short period of time. If things go right I'll be catching fish like the one pictured until late January Attachments ---------------- brown1.jpg (191KB - 80 downloads)
