Location: Kaukauna WI		Has anyone ever treid to sell newer motors only I have a kicker and main motor off my boat from last year and will be switching motor companies this winter. So were is the best place to sell the old motors?

Location: Kaukauna WI		I will sell them as a packages and they are ing water ready condition (to any serous buyer I give a full mainatence history also) and will allow any mechanic look at them plus their still under warrenty for 2 more years I believe.

I am leaving one motor company and going with another in 2005 this reason for the sale of motors.

Let me know what you find out. I am considering doing the same thing right now as I'm not getting any bites on my boat.

Is it worthwhile for someone to just sell their motors and get new ones? Has anyone else out there done this?

Irishwebs, give us some info on the motors, have they had power heads replaced or new lower units put on? Did they get damaged on the Petenwell? What year are they?

Mike,

What is the name brand of the moters? I just sold my old boat with Rudes on the back. I know this is not the ad section, but these are simple queestions. Is there any damage to these motors, I;m just curious because of the other post here. What hapened on pettennwel?Is the kicker have a throtel controll or is it opareted buy hand? What kind of engines are you oing to mount of your new boast?
