Subject: Chief Papineau Retired???

I heard at a local sport show in Illinois that Chief Papineau is not going to be fishing tournaments this year. Does anybody know if this is true? He is a great ambassador of tournament walleye fishing, real nice guy.

I would find that hard to believe....He just became part of Yar-Crafts Pro Staff.....hmmmm...
who knows? There are a lot of changes going on this year, so you never know.

I see that he is signed up to fish the MWC central this year. I have no idea if he is planning on still fishing the PWT or not.

Im thinking this is untrue because he did sign up to fish the mwc and he got a deal with yar craft boats.

Chief will never actually 'retire'!! He might LOOK retired, but then, he always has. Good to hear he's with Yar Craft, that will be a good association for both.
