In a short paragraph or two, tell us what you like about your Lund. |

| Back in '82, my brother purchased one of the first Lund Mr. Pikes. This was the boat of my dreams! Merc Classic 50, and that Lund Red. What a beaut! I fished out of that boat many times, and had my sights set on buying a Lund just like it. Well, then I got married, and the ex put the kibosh on that dream. It took me a while to get back on my feet after that, and I got my first real boat in '91, a Tuffy Rampage. Nice boat, and it was a good deal. In the back of my mind, I always saw this red Lund, with a black motor on it. Finally, in 02, I pulled the trigger, and got my Lund. It's a 1700 Angler SS, red of course, with a 135 Merc Opti, 9.9 kicker, AP65 bow mount, X15's and a X-51, on an Eagle trailer. Bought it from Dave at Norton's Dry Dock in Princeton, WI. Dave is one of the good guys, and gave me a great deal, and I've had great service from him. The boat has performed flawlessly for me so far. Great layout for the muskie fishing I love, yet big enough to tame the roughest Bago can dish out. I've had her out on Green Bay, and in 4 footers, I was never worried. Yep, that Mr. Pike had a major influence on me. |

Location: lake huron | Bought a new Lund Baron Magnum last year from Sportfisherman's Center in Muskegon, MI.
I got one of the very first boats, in this new model, that they produced and it did have some bugs to be worked out.
Overall I am happy with the boat after an entire season of getting the bugs out. I am somewhat dissappointed that the boat left the factory with as many things wrong as it did. They were all little things but it was a very frustrating year and like I said - disappointing - especially for a guy buying his first new boat.
The dealership personell - I have come to realize - are a pretty darn good group of guys when I'm not on their butts constantly !!
I should note that this dealership - hands down - beat all other prices that I had from a variety of places and boat shows.

| Jerry.... if you cut me I bleed .......LUND red.
I love the company, and the folks that work there are like my extended family. So... sometimes I tend to take it sa little personally when somebody starts bashing Lund.
But everybody who knows me knows that. LOL.

Location: Manitowoc, WI | No bashing from me, T-Mac. I loved the Pro-V I had from 2001-2003. She was awesome on all the big ponds we frequent. I'd recommend them to anyone. |

If you were referring to me - I wasn't trying to bash Lund. I was just telling it like it is.
Lund and the dealership worked very hard to make this boat right - it was just frustrating. A friend of mine ordered the same boat and he actually had to have an entire new replacement boat - this is a documented case and the dealer he went thru was Lindy's on the Saginaw Bay. I dont know why some of these boats squeaked thru with all the problems - I wish they didn't - believe me.

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | My Ole' Man was an AlumnaCraft owner and he passed that trait on to me. But in 1983 I took the big gamble and upgraded the old AlumnaCraft T-14 to a LUND Pro Angler. I thought I died and went to heaven. That boat was/is one of the best investments I ever made. I could backtroll on a dime and it was a great multi-species boat. It never failed me and when it was time to upgrade, it was sold for more money than what I originally paid. Boy, I miss that rig. I really wish that I had kept it and had two boats. My deceased dad always told me that this rig was like an extension of my body. He and I could create miracles with it. . Boy, I miss that rig.
My next purchase was a Lund Pro V 1775. By this time I was guiding and I just needed something bigger for the clients. This boat fit my needs very well. Besides using it for guiding, it handled the family ski trip, Canadian muskie trips and anything else I threw at it. Boy, I miss that rig.
For my next rig, I stayed with the Lund Pro V 1775 but up graded to a larger motor and a kicker. Planer board trolling was the name of the game now for me and this setup was awesome. I would have stayed with it except I was now fishing more and more on the Great Lakes and wanted the safety of a larger and longer boat. Besides, I convinced my wife that if I had a faster boat, I'd get home quicker to be with her (true Story ). ……… Boy, I miss that rig.
Since that time, I feel that I have found the perfect rig for me and what I do with it. I will stick with a Lund Pro V 1900. The stability, performance, dependability, resale and looks are fantastic. Lund does a great job in upgrading features while adding new ideas. I keep looking forward to getting the next new boat. In the 22 years that I have been running LUND, I have had only one minor problem. On my last boat, I had to get a gas tank valve replaced. I have always been treated well by Lund and my allegiance will always remain with them. Have a mentioned that I still miss every Lund that I have owned? I really do.

| Oh shucks, no. Lobo.
I wasn't refering to anybody... but I have spent hundreds of hours over many years defending Lund at another web site...as Jerry knows.
