Location: Fergus Falls, MN | Palomar knot. Tie that knot with a really long tag. The tag is what you then attach your weight to.
Check your Wisconsin regulations for the legalities of the DropShot technique. The above knot is illegal in some states. Michigan is one. In those states you need a 3" length of line between your main line and your hook. In other words, your hook can't be on the main line. Has to do with the way the snagging laws are written. |
