Location: Byron, IL | Hi all,
Just a word of caution...Anyone wanting or needing a license to fish Illinois will have a difficult time if trying to purchase at a sport store...they have none available and are not sure when they will have the new ones...
I know there are a lot of tourneys this month on the Illinois River, and many may have not bought an annual license last year (they are good till the 31st of March)
Save yourself the hassle and get a license online if you need one...Here is the link...

Riverside Marine in Spring Valley had mentioned they will have a computer set up for people who need licenses in the upcoming weeks...
Reason I bring this up is that I went to every sportshop in my area last night trying to get one with no luck. Thank goodness for technology... |

| Yep the online licenses have saved me many times, searching around for a license in a different state when you should be fishing is a bummer, buying it online is the way to go! |
