Location: Darboy USA | Hey Guys,
I was caught in the rain the other day and now the screen on my depthfinder is fogged up. Could water have gotten inside at all? The finder is a Lowrance X-135, I can see the screen, but there is a cloudy fog on the inside. Any chance I can take the depthfinder apart and get it fixed or any other ideas?? Would Lowrance cover this on warranty? The unit is only 2 months old.

Location: Chilton | My Lowrance always clears up once it gets dried out. Only happens occasionally, don't know if it's the moisture or temperature that does it? |

Location: Laona, Wisconsin | Call Lowrance, 1-800-324-1356. My X15 had to be sent back 2 times because there was moisture on the back of the screen during the fall fishing season. Lowrance covered it under warranty and I found out later that they had problem with the sealing of the units. Nephew had to send his back two times also. |

| found out if you keep cover on in the sun,,,take locator off bracket and put on the floor.
the heat gets to much if you dont.
they will sometimes clear.
