Nick edged out Mr. Skarlis in a very close contest for the title, more when the pictures are uploaded.

Reuben(Pat Neu) was the top money winner, and tied for the Ranger Cup with Skarlis. How do they split this thing up in a tie?

I don't think the Ranger Cup is decided yet. My understanding: it is a total of a Ranger owner's best events. Since a number of Ranger owners are fishing the PWT, it will be decided there. I think this is how it works, but I'm not 100% sure. Correct me if I'm wrong, Shep.

Not exactly sure, either. I do know that if an angler is in both tours, they would take his best number from one tour, not combine them. Those two lead, right now, and Skarlis's best numbers come from the FLW. He's like 30 some points behind with his PWT points. How many events do they(PWT) have to go yet?

The PWT has three events left: Saginaw Bay, Mobridge, and Sault Ste. Marie.

I looked up the Ranger Cup and it's based on the best 4 events from one circuit. So, someone could still do it in the PWT circuit.

Does anyone know what the Angler of the Year Title Pays Out for being the winner? I don't see it posted on the FLW site or mentioned anywhere else.

Pat can't qualify for the Ranger Cup since he wasn't registered for it at the beginning of the season. No sticker on the boat, and no patch on the shirt for the first couple of events he fished, which is a "must have" to qualify for the Cup....according to the rules anyway....

Congratulations Nick!! Job well done!

The Angler of the Year receives no more than a pat on the back and congratulations, as far as I can tell. I looked through the brochure and there isn't anything there to indicate different.
