Member Posts: 499 Location: Appleton | MIDWEST WALLEYE SERIES (MWS) THIRD STOP SCHEDULED AUGUST 28, 2005 ON THE BAY OF GREEN BAY, MENOMINEE, MI APPLETON: The Midwest Walleye Series (MWS) third stop of the 2005 season will be in Menominee, MI on Sunday August 28, 2005 and will include fishing the entire Bay of Green Bay. The registration and rules meeting will be at Menominee Marina located on Doyle Drive, Menominee, MI . Registration is 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with the rules meeting at 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2005. Teams must be off the water by 5:00 PM Saturday August 27, 2005 Tournament hours will be 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM with the Bay being open to fishing, The weigh-in and boat checks will be at Menominee Marina. Next stop for the MWS will be Escanaba Sept. 11, 2005. The MWS will hold the tournament championship will be October 8th, 2005 in Green Bay. Also with the addition of some new sponsors and continued support of past sponsors, this year’s championship payout will be increased. The top twenty five teams of the series will fish the championship tournament and attend the championship banquet. There will be no entry fee for the qualifiers. The MWS circuit is a professional, competitive, and affordable fishing opportunity. Results are posted on our website www.fishtfm.com as well as other web sites. Also, the Midwest Outdoors Magazine covers the tournament results. A subscription to the Midwest Outdoors Magazine in included with the MWS membership. The MWS is run by Fishermen for Fishermen. The major sponsors for the Midwest Walleye Series are Ranger Boats, Mercury Marine, MotorGuide and Okuma Reels. Site sponsors include Anglers Pride, Action Discs, B & B Bait Boxes, Bait Rigs, Lakemaster, Stow Maser Nets, Midwest Outdoors, and Troll Master. There are still openings in this tournament. We will take entries up to the rules meeting, However entries postmarked or taken after August 20, 2005 will be charged a processing fee. Member Posts: 499 Location: Appleton | We have 68 teams right now and several teams have stated they have mailed in entries and some teams have said they were signing up Saturday. | ||
