Whopops....Sorry for posting late, as I'm an avid Smallmouth Bass angler and don't know about all these great walleye stes.
Here We Go......A In-Fisherman, PWT Mercury Marine National Championship update.
Event Dates: Sept. 9 - 18, 2005. Yes eight days of activities, though the championship fishing days are Sept. 16, 17, 18.
Event Location: Milford State Park, Milford Lake, KS and Junction City, KS. Junction City and Milford Lake are located about one-hour to the west of Topeka, KS, on I-70.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Championship Observers. We still have a limited number of openings on Sept. 16, 17, 18. All observers must attend a pro-angler/observer meeting at 4:00 PM on Sept. 15. THESE ARE GOING FAST...NO COST. Call 1-800-528-2489 for getting a position.
PWT VIP TOURNAMENT. Spend the day fishing "one-on-one" with a PWT Pro. This event will be on Sept. 11, beginning at 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The top teams will win great prizes. The cost is $375 per person.
Military Appreciation Day Supporters. Considering Milford Lake is located next to historic Fort Riley, on Sept. 13, all 51 PWT Pro's will take soldiers fishing. The cost to be a supporter is $260.00 per fishing trip. Call 1-800-528-2489.
