This is a 34" fish taken on a Reef Runner on Bay De Noc recently. 15# on the nut. Congratulations to the angler, one heck of a fish!

"Weekend report and question."

We were out Friday and Saturday, trolling mostly Reef Runner Deep Divers, 800 series. We had numerous hits. Did get one 34", 15 lb in the boat. This one's going on the wall. Will post picture a little later. First one I've ever kept for the wall. Released a 27.5 and 26. Biggest problem of the weekend though, was we had other big fish on, and the 10 lb Fireline we were using, broke 6 times. If was on just one ploe, I would suspect line age or the pole or something. But it was on 3 different poles. Anyone else had any problems with Fireline?

Butch, you managed to find that thread......how about reading a bit further down?

"Just got Bobs pics and a short note. Man, what an awsome fish!
"Thanks for trying to weigh my walleye Sat. Took it to the taxidermist this AM. We couldn't get it froze Sat, wouldn't fit in any of the freezers we found, so looked all over to find a cooler it would fit in. Finally found one at Shopko. Packed it in ice for the remainder of the weekend. Weighed it in this AM 14lb 7oz. SO...what did it really weigh on Sat AM? We'll have to figure out where to get a certified weight in the future."

BOB"

to quote Paul harvey...."and now you know the rest of the story"
