Looking at a Lakemaster card for a 334C Lowrance. What do you guys think? I always used fishing hot spots before.

I have the hi def Lakemaster chip that covers the Winnebago system in hi def.... it is excellent. The detail on Poygan, Butt des Morts and Bago are very accurate. If you troll and want a chip that will give you excellent detail in 1 foot depths on the reefs... I've would recommend it highly.

I may be selling my WI Chip (9 months old) because I going to buy the new WI Lakemaster chip that has the bay of Green Bay in Hi def.... e-mail me if anyone is interested!!

Does it show weedlines like the hot spot maps?

The only place I've ever fished with weedlines would be the Bay of Green Bay and the map is not hi def on the bay... I don't think it shows a difference between weed lines and bottom contour.... I'll hook it up later today and let you know!@

Hey PS - Does that mean the New LakeMaster chip for Wisconsin has both Bago and the Bay in Hi Def? The list I got from the LakeMaster website only has Bago in Hi Def.

BTW, I see Mike every Friday he stops by LaForce.

B...fish,

When I called the guy @ Lakemaster 2 weeks ago, he indicated to me the the new chip would include everything the chip I currently have (hi def Wisconsin chip purchased last May 05) and The Bay of Green Bay and Bay de Noc.

When I talked to Mike today, he seemed to think that the chip was only Bago/ Bay of GB and Bay De Noc in hi def and no other WI lakes....

The Lakemaster chip that I looked at yesterday at Gander had 3 foot definition on Ganos... I think the Lowrance display unit was not reading the lakemaster chip.... I'm going to call the rep from Lakemaster and find out... I'll keep you posted.

Since you're closer to the bay then I am.... you have to let me know when it's time to start on the BIG WATER this year.

Thanks...

Sure thing PS, as far as the ice goes, but the river is going to be ready long before the Bay.

The list with the lakes on the Lowrance/LakeMaster ProMap Series Wisconsin Premier Region MMC I printed came from this link:http://www.lakemap.com/gpsdata/index.html. Then click on the link to the WI PDF file.
