I've been told that there are a lot of musky in Lake Poygan, just wondering if this is true?

Not a lot, but there are some. I fished it a few years ago on a nostalgia trip with the uncle. I raised about a 34 incher. The C&R Musky club has been involved with releasing Great Lakes Strain fish the past year or two in Poygan, and Butte des Mortes.

I had a 40 to 50 inch muskie attack a planner broad last year in Lake Winneconne. So yes there are muskies in this system Lake Butte Des Mort is probably your best bet.
