| I have a x-15 and a Garmin GPS and Sonar on my boat and the x-15 tranducer is in the hull and the garmin is mounted on the back. they are approximatly 2 feet apart. when i turn them both on the x-15 loses bottom and flashes and will not respond. What could be wrong? Are they even capatable to run together? |

| Sounds like interference, although, completely losing bottom and flash digital is a bit extreme. Usually with interference, I just get verticle lines on my X-15. Still useable, though. How is the battery condition? Full Charge? Maybe try reseating the transducer connection to the X-15?
What is the frequency of the Garmin? Maybe try to disable the Garmin sonar, while still running the Garmin GPS? Can you do that with the Garmin? |

| Battery are great, have not check the frequencies but i will tonight. the x-15 losses the bottom dept when we put on the sonar from the Garmin. if we shut the sonar off on garmin everything is fine. i will try what you suggested. Thank you very much. |
