Member Posts: 1195 Location: Orland Park, IL | More of a rest and relaxation weekend. Leavin the boat and meesus at home, and bringing 5YO. Gonna hit some harbors on the east side, starting at pipe and working our way up, ie, stockbreedge, calumetville, brothertown, highcliffs, etc. Gettin some menos and cheecken at Texaco in Pipe and mellowin out this weekend. Its a slip bobberin weekend. Got a truck full of burnin wood I need to drop off at the trailer. Stocken up for the season. Plus this is my last day at work. I gotta make sure all the names are crossed off the f/u list, and give my boss a hearty ba-fung-goo. New job on Monday. Back home on Sunday am to what the monkey in the rabbit suite the meesus hired to keep all the keeddies happy. Didnt think there were any guys in rabbit suites anymore. I guess everyone has a price.

Member Posts: 1195 Location: Orland Park, IL | Me and the 5YO. Left the boat and the meessus at home. More scoutin than anything. Feeshed a number of harbors on the east side on Friday. Then feeshed the west side on Saturday. Small perch thats it. Lots of skunk going on in the boats we talked to at about a dozen ramps. Since there is a 5 feesh no size limit, see a few walleyes in livewells. Seen some larger males, no females. Males were still milky. Kinda confusin on the spawn front. I expected them to be done. Lots of PWT reegs runnin the reever near oskosh. The reever was packed. Lots of shore feesherman too. Talked to this one guy who had a beeg red fly on a three way with a shina. It was a 20 foot telescoping special. Dropped to the bottom then a couple of cranks up. All in a rod holder on shore. Wild lookin reeg. He swears by it though. He's pulled out 5-8lb walleyes on this reeg. Super nice shore feeshin spot right in downtown oshkosh. Lots of friendly folks. Drove around the lake once. BEEG lake. Found some nice harbors to feesh. Usually a meno and bobber, but spent a lot of time watchin the 5YO go through his investigation stage, checking things out. Weather was awesome. Getting ready for the spreeng bite. (RSS this means you!!!!). Trailer was still standing, which is nice. Warm too, no bugs or mice.
