Subject: WWA Pollock SD Tournament Results May 7th

Teams were greeted with rising muddy water that made it a challenge. Rick Boomgartner and Darryn Boer of Pollock took 1st place with 5 fish weighing in at 10.62 pounds. They were trolling crank baits up north in the “artesian well” area. They were the only team that went north. Whitey Ryckman and Myrlan Ryckman of Pollock took 2nd place with five fish weighing 9.35 pounds. They trolled crank baits along a channel break along side a row of trees. Bob Rossow of Pollock and Ken Rossow of Mobridge captured 3rd Place with four fish weighing 5.86 pounds. Big fish honors with a 2.81 pound walleye went to Carlyle Schliem of Sioux Falls.
