Location: Shabbona | Just got back from pool 14 today.. Caught everything other than the ketchen sink..Mooneye-- Redfin-- Sheaphead- BIG Gills--and of course Walleye..
Big Gills are on the wing dams along with the walleye..River is low watch were you go. You'll like this one the trolling bite is also working . Target 10 to 6 FOW..#5 shad raps long line or use leadcore..
Good Luck |

| We have been doing good on Pool 13 for walleyes and everything else that bites. We fished 14 a few weeks ago and did ok too. Pick a wingdam and anchor or start trolling, the fish are there. Shadraps #7 and #5 have been doing well. |

Location: Chicago IL. | From what I have also heard from some friends that live there is the bite is awsome. It sounds like the slot is working and a great spawn 5 years ago has made 14 into a great fishery. Your right moo,the trolling bite is music to my ears. If your going to around this weekend ,stop by for a "pop" and some shorelunch on sat/sun. Looks like there should be around 8 of us camping on a island south of Albany. Looks like weather should be great. 847-875-9979 cell.
Thanks for the reports guys. |
