Okay, maybe this is a dumb question.....But how come I don't see Tom keenan in the top 200 of the WWR?

I would think Angler of the year for FLW and he's fished more than 2 years, that he would be in the top 200.

Zach, Steve? Am I missing something?

I'm guessing he missed the minimum number of events over the last two years to quailfy. Zach's on vacation, but will probably see this sometime this week and confirm.

Jay he should be back on top when it gets updated. 2005 he only fished 2 Tournaments 2006 he will have all 5 of the FLW tournaments in this year.

Either that or the guy`s at WWR are just to scared of him.....LOL

Steve, what's the minimum number of tournaments? I looked for the "about WWR" link and couldnt' find it. Thanks again.

Thanks, for the info Mike, It'll be good to see where he lands when the WWR gets "re-shuffled".

You have to fish a complete circuit each year. If he had done the entire FLW in 2005 he would have a top three ranking, maybe even higher., He won't be eligible again until after his second tournament of 2007.

I thought the original requirement was 6 in a two year period. I might be wrong, but I don't think so. hehehe

Seven over two years with a complete circuit fished each year, which will be changed to eight after next year. Single tournaments more than one season old may be paired with recent tournaments if a full circuit is being fished in the current year and the previous year.

You may have to adjust the full circuit thinking after next year, if the FLW goes to 6 tourneys like they are projecting. Lots of great anglers won't be able to fish all 6 plus the championship. Plus, there is no doubt going to be some conflict with the PWT Regionals, and SuperPro touneys, so some of those that fish both may have to decide on a tourney or two to skip, whether it be an FLW or PWT event.

If an angler fishes one full circuit, but only some of the other, do his finishes from that incomplete circuit count. If so, why? And why then would it not count for angler who did not fish a complete circuit one year? As long as he had the minimum number of tourney, what's the difference?

PS. Zach, Did you get the PM on the drift socks?

The Pros will need to complete a full circuit to qualify, which at this point means 4 a year. There are several reasons for this, not the least of which is the ability some years to 'cherry pick' events that are backyard, or favor a certain presentation or knowledge base out of the events offered by two of the circuits.

It's also the word that the FLW will stay with 4 next year, at least that's what I am hearing right now.

Hey Zach! While you are in Lake Mills, remind them of the pics I sent ya and that I will be available in late October or early November. Give me a call when you get in the area, maybe we can hook up and hit Green Bay if you got time. I'd be able to get out on Thursday morning if you are interested.
