Location: Appleton | Congratulations and THANKS to all 86 teams that fished the MWS Menominee, MI Green Bay tournament. Also congratulations to the top twenty five teams that qualified to fish the Championship. Also Thanks to all the teams that fished the 2006 MWS season.
It was a cold and windy, but much better than Saturday’s small craft advisory.
The winning team’s success came trolling spinners and fishing several locations.
The team of John Schneider and Kevin Adams took first place with a four fish limit weighing 32.14# winning them $4,200. They also had the big fish with a 10.82# walleye winning them $730 in the Big Fish Pot. They also received two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, an assortment of Ka Boom lures, and two gift certificates for Anglers Pride Specialties. Second place went to the team of Nick Graede and Josh Hafner with four fish totaling 24.48# for $2000. Third place went to the team of John Clumpner and Rob Schmidt with four fish weighing 27.46# for $1000. Fourth place went to the team of Pat Schuette and Erv Schuette with four fish totaling 27.34# for $700. Fifth place went to the team of Joe Hackett and Dave Hackett with four weighing 23.84# for $600.
A total of 132 fish were caught weighing 673.14#.
The 2006 Team of the year was awarded to Rob Krause and Dave Dretzke from Berlin, WI. The 2006 Husband/Wife Team of the year was awarded to the team of Joe and Kim Boehnlein Chilton, WI. The Parent/Child Team of the year was awarded to Jim O’Brien Sr. and Chris O’Brien from Waukesha, WI. The Sibling Team of the Year was awarded to Joe Mans from Pestigo, WI and John Mans from Menominee, MI
