Location: Oklahoma | Just a public aknowledgement for these great walleye tournament anglers who have all 4 qualified for the PWT Championship this year! These guys are great walleye fishing anglers, and also, post importantly, each one are true professionals in their sport. I am proud to be associated with each of them and I am also wishing them the best for the Championship!
I mentioned before that Tournament angling has grown over the years and I support the tournament anglers as I know that this is a trend in the fishing market. After reading all of the responses to my post about recreational fishing vs. tournament fishing a while back, I have a much better view of what you all see in walleye fishing, and I have grown to have a more mature attitude toward the tournament angler. Each of you have explained that while tournaments can provide satisfaction for needs of competition and social aspects, but also that tournament anglers also fish for fun, too.
I wish the best to all the anglers who have fished tournaments this year and I hope that each of you enjoyed the season and had a good time doing it. Some of the best walleye fishing is still to come, and in the PWT Championship event, at least, I am proud to have four outstanding Pros representing Dave's KA-BOOM! Baits! Thanks to each of you for your hard work and time spent both competing and promoting. It is very demanding and can prove to be a very challenging career. Tommy Skarlis, Tom Gatzke, Chase Parsons and Daryl Christensen....GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU!
