Took this off another board and my answer to it.

I was looking at the Iowa State Record Fish list today, and found it noteworthy that women own the current records for some very popular fish species:
-Largemouth Bass
-Tiger Muskie (I assume Shannon is a female, but I have heard it used as a male name as well, so I apologize if I've assumed incorrectly here...)
-Walleye
-Sauger

We need more women members to show us how to catch the BIG ONES!

Dave.

Can't legitimately claim this as a state record, but my wife caught me 28 years ago, June 17th 1978. I'm 75 inches long and weight 319 pounds. That has to be up there near some kind of record.
