| I was wondering if anyone running a 1890 with a 200 OPTI has played with the engine hieght?
Right now it is the 2nd hole from the top.
I raised the engine on my Mr Pike with good results and a good prop.
I am running a REV 4 21 right now turning about 5600 rpm at 59 60 mph full livewell and 3/4 tank of gas |

| With the rev 4 you can run the motor up pretty high, however, your setup seems to be running pretty darn good, I honestly wouldn't mess with anything. Is there something preformance wise that you think is lacking? |

You might shoot Sworrall a PM about this. He might be able to give you more details on doing that or knows of dealers putting the motor in different holes of the mount. I know he has his 1890 with a 200 Opti also. But I would tell you to shoot him a pm first. |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | I will be playing with this boat a bit more this coming spring. We found the rev 4 set up last year here at Fort Fremont, Spread the word, and that is why it is so popular now. I think the boat has more speed yet, however, it may cut into the fishability, I.E. running big waves and sticking the prop when you need to. when you raise it to far, you will blow out and lose bite. This is by far the fastest 18-19ft walleye boat on the market. |

| Thats funny becuase my buddies and i started running rev 4's on our tuffy's in 2000 and tried to get everyone we could to run them, even though the tempest was what was reccomended by everyone else, and honestly made the boats run like doo doo. But back to the point, I'd stay with what you got moreyes, seems to be running pretty good. |

| BTW, the rev4 will make the boat handle much better in big water than say a tempest will. the rev4 is very tempermental as far as motor height goes however, but when it is set up right you should have no trouble blowing out the porp and loosing bite even if it does happen. |

The 1890 Tuffy did not hit the scene till 2006 but I am guessing that does not matter to you, you found the rev 4 way long ago so you shall be the God when it comes to Tuffy boats for all future reference on this internet site.

| I wasn't talking about the 1890 specifically Dennis, i just thought it was ironic that you are taking all the credit for everyone running a rev4 on their tuffy, when there were many people running them before you even gave two you know whats about tuffy. Either way, i'm not here to start a pissing match with you. The revolution 4 is an amazing prop for many walleye boats and i'd love to spread the word to those very very few you haven't taught yet dennis  |
