I am quite interested in this motor, I used to run PD's and switched to Maxxums for the past 5-6 seasons.

Easier stow/deploy and the foot pedal like the cable units have sparked my interest.

Has anyone actually run one of these yet. Found some other info that guys have received them for 2007. Anyone actually run one in 2006 or had a chance to use their new unit?

Thanks for the help,

Curly

I have one but have not had a chance to use it on the water(dang weather), the stow and deploy is way easier than before, the foot pedal is very well thought out.

ANd it turns quicker and smoother than before.

If we get a warm snap in Jan I will be down to Pool 4

If we get that warm snap again, and I get my MK bowmount, I want to come over and fish the Miss. Mark, I think you, me, and Jason ought to get out there, and hook up with moreyes for a weekend of eyes and saugers!

Mark, here is a great read, you might want to check out this magazine. For those of you inerested in the new Terrarova, I thought I would let anyone that is interested that I was in Gander Mountain this afternoon and was reading a boating magazine, it was called "Bass and Walleye Boats". That was the name of the magazine. On page 50, they featured a three page product review of the all new Minn Kota Terrarova. They had the exclusive test review before anyone had seen the motor yet. It's a pretty decent read if your looking at purchasing the new motor. I found it worth reading, thought I would share that with those who are interested.

Well you need 2 hands, one to push the lever and the other to pull up on the shaft, it is very well balenced

Shep,

I'm in ... I would love a ride in that new Tuffy, suspect I'll really like it. Love the red stripe, reminds me of my old 690.

Merckid: I'll check out the article thanks. Give me another reason to stop at Gander.

Moreyes: Thanks

Rat Farts, I was hoping you could get it stowed with one hand. At times when I get a musky on I like to pull the trolling motor up. I love the pedal, want to be able to fish in the back of the boat, and miss my old AP feature at times. I may have to compramise and give one a try. If they had it on a scissors-style launch I would already have ordered one.

Best,

Curly
