Subject: Cannot drill holes

I recently just took the burrs off my blade on my ice auger. It is a Jiffy Model 30 10 inch with a 3HP motor. My question is that once i put the blade on the same way I took it off and went to drill a hole all it does is sit and spin on the ice. It does not grab and bite and start do drill a hole. I am wondering if all you walleye gurus and other fishermen have any thoughts or comments on this. It sucks trying to spud out my holes day after day. Thanks a bunch in advance, and I hope to get some good help here.

Assuming it cut before, one of two things happened. Either you dulled it when you "took the burrs off" or you didn't put it back on correctly. How did you take the burrs off?
