Just got word that a friend of mine has purchased Eagle Lake Island Lodge, on Eagle Lake in Canada. As a favor to me he is giving away a 4 day trip for two that includes all meals, boat & gas, (Standard American plan) Also, the winner can use the full amount of the package to upgrade to any offered plan and length of stay if he/she so chooses. This trip has a value of $545 per person.

You can eneter at the Outdoor Gazette booth at the N.E.W Sport Fishing Show and also at Ice Breaker 2. YOU CAN ONLY ENTER ONCE AT EACH SHOW. If you want to enter more then once to incrrase your odds, you need to be at both shows. There will be different color tickets and questions asked and you must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate. Those displaying or promoting at the show will not be allowed to participate. This drawing is for the general public attending the show who take the time to stop by the Outdoor Gazette booth at each show.

Sponsored by Wolf River Country.Com and Outdoor Gazette

I got it off Winnebagofishing. I haven't been on this for quite awhile so probably missed it some where.

AXL says it is March 10, starting at 10 AM in Fremont.

Doc,
I think I talked Kendal into showing up he said he'd give you a shout after he's done registering sturgeon!
It would be nice to include a talk on the opening of the locks, you have the invasives covered but this is the second most important issue facing fishermen around here these days! I know the DNR is against it and politically have to watch what they say so maybe you could find a "friendly environmentalist" to discuss further!!!hehehe
Good Luck

I talked to Kendall a few weeks ago about being there and some other issues that we will be discussing . He was hoping to be able to be there March 10th, but could not commit at the time due to uncertinty with his DNR schedule in March. As far as invasive species, that is why I have stressed the importance of anglers hearing the presentation by Chad Cook. It may be the MOST IMPORTANT part of the entire day IMHO.
Looking forward to seeing you there,

JK

Sorry for the phone thing, in process of moving my office out of the house for the first time in eleven years, screwed up the timing. You said no big hurry and I said I'd send you some jigs and flies for being patient. I apologize again for the delay but my CD writer has been malfunctioning. I just have had some more important things to attend to. the CD drive thing has been causing problems with some other work too. I'll send you your money back with a free map. Sorry for the inconvienience. Pulling it off my web site too to avoid further problems.

I hope you all get to see Axl's seminar on fishing the reefs on Winnebago. He does a great job, and he is known for his reef fishing. I have seen it before, and am looking forward to seeing it again. I hope to see some of you there as well. He should be called Mr. Reef, instead of Axl.
