Member Posts: 3899 | What are the options for yearly launch passes for Winnebago chain and Green Bay. Is there a separate launch pass for Winnebago County vs Oshkosh? What launches does the county pass cover? What Launches does the City pass cover? Green Bay Metro is Brown County? Can you use this for Fox Point in Depere? Is Fox Point a separate launch? Is there a best choice for these two systems? I should know all this, but I though there are others that would like the info as well. Edited by Shep 3/27/2007 1:31 PM

It was $30 last year for Brown county residents. I have not bought mine yet for this year, so I'm not sure if it went up. I'm not sure if they have a non-resident sticker.

Is there a separate launch pass for Winnebago County vs Oshkosh? What launches does the county pass cover? The cities of Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha and Winnebago County all have separate passes for their launches. Neenah permit for the Doty Island or Rec-Pool Launch. Menasha permit for Jefferson Park, Paris St, or Smith park. Oshkosh permit for Menominee Park, 24th St, and Fugleburg, Rainbow, or Mill St. Winnebago County permit: Lake Butte des Morts Boat Launch, Eureka Boat Launch, Black Wolf Boat Launch, Boom Bay Boat Launch, Lake Poygan Boat Launch, Grundman Park Boat Launch, or Asylum Point Park Boat Launch

| You can also go to the Winnebago County office on the East side of the landfill off old 45. I also know that if you are a dollar short at the Calumet County Launch, it will cost you $65.00 to launch your boat that day. PS | |||

| PS, As long as you go pay the difference right away they dont make you pay the fine at Calumet County Park. I did the same thing last year. | |||

| Loueyed, Correct... I did just that and they were waiting for me at the counter... I should have noted that as well so others know the staff there is really not out to get ya when you screw up... I just wish I could buy 1 stamp regardless of the cost. I'm usually too excited to get the boat in the water to read the signs with the correct amount 6 inches from where you put your money in. So how much is everyone else spending this year on launch permits? Ps | |||

Member Posts: 1656 | Ritch, You can stop down to the Menasha police dept. and they can issue you a permit for the season. Same is true for Neenah.

Member Posts: 1314 Location: Menasha, WI | Ritch, I'm pretty sure Menasha has a 'reciprocity' deal with the city of Appleton so you can get a pass at the same cost of a resident, $15. Go to the Park & Rec Dept on the second floor of City Hall on Main Street, not the police station on First Street. Edited by Viking 5/2/2007 10:20 AM

Member Posts: 1314 Location: Menasha, WI | Dominic, As I understand it, the reciprocity is extended only to Appleton and Neenah residents. You 'Townies' have to able able to offer us city folk something in return http://www.cityofmenasha-wi.gov/content/departments/parks_&_recreat...(1)parks_information/(1)parks/(13)boat_launches.php Edited by Viking 5/3/2007 9:23 AM
