Location: Appleton | Congratulations and THANKS to all 140 teams that fished the MWS Upper Winnebago tournament.
It was windy day on but the Sun shined most of the day which was a great improvement form last years cold, wind, snow, sleet, and rain.
The team of Shawn Timm and Gary Peil took first place with five fish weighing 16.38# winning them $5,000. Shawn and Gary also had the big fish of the tournament weighing 6.52# winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, $100 in Gift certificates from Mack’s Lures, a hand held GPS donated by Marine General, and some Ka Boom lures. Second place went to the team of Lee and Brenda Georgenson with five fish totaling 14.28# for $3,000. Third place went to the team of Peter Belle and Jeremy Wojcik with five fish weighing 12.82# for $2,000. Fourth place went to the team of Mark O’Brien and Rick Stadler with five fish totaling 12.80# for $1,000. Fifth place went to the team of John Olson and Bradley DeBroux with five fish weighing 11.58# for $800.
A total of 436 fish were caught weighing 846.32#
Current Team of the year is Shawn Timm and Gary Peil. Current husband/wife Team of the year is Lee and Brenda Georgenson. Current parent/child Team of the year is Butch and Travis Mac Donald. Current Sibling Team of the Year is Al and Wayne Halla
