Location: Rhinelander | The weather looks good tomorrow overall for the FLW League event beginning at 7 AM tomorrow morning. A front is due through the area tomorrow night or early Sunday, but that shouldn't have a major effect on the tournament weather. WalleyeFIRST will be there in the morning for the opening ceremony.

Location: Rhinelander | The weather is perfect today with partly cloudy skies and temps forecast to hit 71 degrees with a chance of a shower. Winds are moderate out of the south, and the bite is ON. 61 boats headed out on Lake Erie this morning amongst an equal number of local anglers out of Bolles Harbor. Word is a strong year class of 20" fish will guarantee limits today, but the winning limit will need a couple kicker fish. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Location: Rhinelander | The weather held reasonably, with just a mild shower breaking up the partly cloudy and cool tournament day. 60 of 61 teams limited, as predictions held that the '03 year class fish would dominate the weights and a couple big fish would win the event. Facing that strong bite for smaller walleyes, boater Dennis Gulau and Co-angler Jason Blain put a five-fish limit in the boat weighing 28lbs 2oz for the FLW League win on Erie. Doug Casterline and Robert North weighed 25lbs 4oz to secure second place. Gary Devos and co-angler David Leach took third with 21lbs 14oz. Fish were caught using every technique one might imagine, but the main tactic seemed to be Crawler Harnesses and bottom bouncers. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
