I have an 03 Super Hawk 1700 with a 115 Merc two stoke. Great boat for the most part. If I had to do anything different I'd go with the 125 Opti or 4 stroke. Also have a 12v Minn Kota electric but should have got a 24v also. Been reliable and great to fish from. Oh yes, Wish it had a livewell or bait well in the rear.

THANKS
Well that was my concerns, a livewell in the rear, and I love my 24v that I have now. I am looking at one that has a 90 and that may have to work for now. How is the storage, and were would you place the kicker gas tank?

I have a 9.9 Merc kicker and I have it's fuel tank in the storage compartment on the passemger side nest to the main fuel tank. I was fishing last week and another Cretliner similar to mine passed my like I was standing still. I think it had a 90 Yamaha on it.
Don't know why but it looked like they didn't have as much extra junk in it. Storage is OK but I always have more stuff than the next guy.

Just bought a 2008 superhawk 1700 and it has a livewell front and rear as well as a 4 stroke 115 mercury O/B. lots of goodies for it and lots of room....don't know what the old ones are like but the new one ROCKS!
