Very unfair comparison, ever tried to fish out of a Searay----I also own a 21' FourWinns, would be pretty hard to rig it for fishing.....

Until you ride and fish in a Patriot,........you're never going to know what you're missing

Since when is the most popular the best? Are you saying Tracker makes the best boat on the water?

I enjoy hearing about new brands here, a nice change from all the GENMAR bs at Walleye Central, although I admit you guys do lay it on a little thick about the Patriot stuff. Also, I think anyone here is allowed to speak up about their particular brand.

Just remember, fishermen catch fish, boats just help you get there.

Patriot is a Canadian built boat company that specialized until this year in Saltwater.I notice that Tuffy, Warrior, Yar Craft, and ALL the Saltwater brands in competition from Florida to Texas are not listed, either.

Give them a few quarters, and you will find them listed in Soundings, because they will send in sales figures to them. That is how that works!

The Patriot guys here onsite DO need to valve the Patriot talk back a little, sometimes the talk gets a bit over the top. It is, I think, a result of the excitement they feel about the new products. All the boats out there whether listed in Soundings or not are good products, or they wouldn't have happy owners.

I have a Tuffy, and like it pretty well.

If there are people who are offended or taken aback by my question, I apologize. I asked "where's Patriot" because I didn't know if they made their own boat or were a part of a larger company. Wasn't trying to be a smart aleck. Heck, the last thing anyone can accuse me of is being smart.....;)

I do run a Patriot and promote it allot. One of the reasons being, is that I am so excited to start fishing. Leaving for PWT in Port Clinton soon.

I also know for a FACT that all the boats on the PWT tour or RCL tour are excellent boats. I feel lucky to have a Patriot and I also would be proud to own a Tuffy,Warrior,Ranger,Lund,Crestliner, Tracker, Triton, Smoker Craft etc.etc.

I once own a 15 ft deep V Smoker Craft. I was the happiest guy in the world then. And now I am REALLY happy with a 20 ft Patriot with a 225hp engine! I just like to cruise around!

Life is good.. And I am very thankful for that. Support our troops and hope they all can come home safe!
