| What are you guys putting on your bow as far as poundage and shaft lenght for your electrics on your 1890's? I am trying to figure out how I would rig this boat if I do end up getting into one. Thanks Guys!! |

| You are going to want the 62" shaft without a doubt. When you get in any decent size waves it'll be worth it. As far as poundage, depending on what type of fishing you are doing, i'd say go with either the biggest 24 volt system and run it on 31 series batteries, or go with a 36 volt system for longer staying power. |

| I'm running an 80 lb. Terrova on my 2060. So far it has been plenty of motor for what I've needed. Get the longest shaft you can. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I would say definitely at least 24 volt system and a 60inch shaft will do you just fine. |

| I have the 80 Lb Terrova on my 1890. 24 Volt, AutoPilot, and Universal Sonar. This TM has been great so far. Long enough in big waves to stay in the water. The stow and deploy are effortless, and the new footpedal is awesome. Plenty of power.
The 80 lb is plenty of thrust for this boat. You caould get by with a 70, if you are thinking of going to a PowerDrive V2.
I have 31 series batteries, and can get about 2 1/2 days on a full charge. Don't ask me how I figured that out. Get the best on board charger you can afford. I miss my Guest. I will have one on my next boat. Minn Kota makes good chargers, too.

| Thanks Guys!! I am planning on an 80# 60" shaft Terrova AP/US but I wanted to here from those of you who are usung the boats and equipment. Does anybody have a 175 Suzuki on this boat? |

| Norm has a 200 Suzuki on his. He likes it. I think the 175 would work. Justin Gaiche has a 175 Opti on his 1890 GC. |

i've got a 75lb thrust / 24v MotorGuide Wireless on mine.
i put this trolling motor on the boat because i love MotorGuides and others advised me that it would be plenty of power for the 1890. at first i was beyond questioning if that was true and well into the "skeptical" category. i've had 36v systems on smaller boats and loved the excess power and particularly the reserve capacity.
well, after a true workout over the last 3 weeks fishing big waters in Minnesota, including Leech in sustained 30mph winds, a tournament on Vermilion, and a final stop on Green Bay on the way home, i'm here to say that the advice i was given was GOOD. 
that 75lb runs the boat smoothly and efficiently. at the end of a full day and night of fishing i was never below the "Good" rating on power, and there was always plenty of power to maneuver the boat how i wanted.
as for shaft length, i did use the full 60" the one day on Leech in extremely high winds. we had the kicker motor turned on to hold position facing the wind and using the trolling motor to steer; with massive waves bobbing us up and down i never lost prop in the water. the trolling motor handled it just fine.
you'll be happy with a 75-80lb 24v trolling motor, and i suggest the MotorGuide Wireless. the low profile pedal that you can take anywhere in the boat is a very nice feature.
