Location: Rhinelander | Perfect weather greeted the Pros and Co Anglers at the boat launch this morning on Wabigoon Lake for the PWT Super Pro final day. The winds are supposed to be light NW, and temps at 80 degrees. Many of the Pros were upbeat, as the learning curve on this water is shortening each day. Baskets should be better today, if the bite is as good as anticipated! Watch for WalleyeFIRST Leaderboard coverage to begin at about 5 PM Central. Location: Rhinelander | 1 BILL ST PETER 2 MARK BRUMBAUGH 3 MARK COURTS 4 KEITH KAVAJECZ 5 PERRY GOOD 6 BRUCE SAMSON 7 JOHN BUTTS 8 GARY PARSONS 9 RICK OLSON 10 BOB PROPST JR There's the top ten from the final day of the Wabigoon PWT Super Pro. Bill St. Peter kicked some solid tail today, bringing his second consecutive 16 pound plus basket to the scales with enough weight to pass a hard fighting Mark Brumbaugh by about 3 pounds. Mark Courts and Keith Kavajecz weighed about 13 pounds each today, holding down third and fourth with two good days and one average basket. Jigging and casting cranks were the top two presentations according to the PWT stage interviews. Wabigoon big fish were tough to figure out for many, but the big fish are there, and St. Peter and Brumbaugh proved that out. Dryden really turned out for this event, supporting the PWT and their local hero, John Butts (finishing a solid 7th with a 13 pound plus basket today, video to come soon) and a special thanks HAS to go out to the Good Folks at Indian Point Camp here on the Goon for taking excellent care of the WalleyeFIRST Crew!
