I have been getting a few calls from people asking about the river in my area after the recent flooding. The river and lake here are in great shape, the flow and water clarity are better right now than they have been all summer. Just to our south it's a different story. The walleye bite hase been pretty slow but things are showing signs of improvement with the cooling water temps and increased flows. The bass/ panfish/ cat bite has been great all summer and should continue right through the fall. My sympathies go out to those just to my south who have to deal with all of the recent flooding, what a mess. Good luck to all and see you on the water.
