has anyone used this new gps unit?? and if so is there additional wiring needed to make this unit operational. i understand that it has a built in antenna but i heard that additional T conectors are needed thanx.

You should not need additional T connectors to use the unit stand alone. If using standalone, and the internal antenna, you will only connect the unit power. If you are using this unit to power a NMEA 2000 network, then you should also have switched power to that cable as well. If you are adding this to an existing NMEA 2000 network, you would only power the unit. You will need a node T and cables to add to an exisitng network.
