Member Posts: 1382 | On the walleye side of the contest we are up to 24 entries and 719 total inches. On the muskie side we are at 121 fish and 5914 total inches. I know we can't beat their total inches but we can get them on total numbers, it only takes a minute to enter a fish, it's free, and the more times you enter the better your chances of winning a beautiful replica of your walleye from Lax Reproductions. Ranger621_250Verado is leading the charge with five separate fish entered. http://walleye.outdoorsfirst.com/cnr_images.asp?view=ustats Jolly is the king of Green Bay with four fish entered http://walleye.outdoorsfirst.com/cnr_images.asp?view=lstats Enter a fish, I'll even throw a couple in there even though I'm not eligible.

Didn't think anyone would catch the subtle rule change? That's real nice. Punish the people who could follow the rules because most can't.

The rules used to state that for the 2006 contest, fish had to be caught in 2005. Now the rules state that for 2006 only, 2005 fish are also eligible. Basically the contest went from a 2005 fish caught date only to a 2005 AND 2006 fish caught date.

Member Posts: 1382 | Nope, we allowed 2005 fish right from the beginning for '06, on the muskie contest as well, to help build a good collection of fish.

Then why isn't that the rule for every year that you can enter a fish from 2 seasons ago? Why just the 2006 contest?

Member Posts: 1382 | Because it's the first year of the contest, we wanted to open up one previous year initially to build a good base of entries and to encourage initial participation.

Location: Rhinelander | A FREE contest to enter and possibly win a reproduction worth hundreds of dollars; the rues were pretty clear and didn't change. I fail to see a problem. Thanks to Rick Lax for the sponsorship. The drawing will be in a couple weeks at the Milwaukee Muskie Expo. I'll have it onsite the same day as mentioned above.

Member Posts: 1382 | Sure, you can still enter 2006 fish. We will probably cut it off the wed before the MM Show. Fish caught in 2007 will only be good for the 2007 contest, to be drawn in early 2008.
